Charles Curtis passed away May 1, 2008 after a short illness in Fulton, KY. Mr. Curtis was born in St. Louis MO to Harold and Audrey Browne Curtis on December 7,1927 and was a much beloved son and nephew to the Curtis and
Browne families. He married Wilma Childress (Billie) on October 2,1948 and together they enjoyed 46 years of marriage and family life. He enjoyed a successful career as an electrician and small business owner in Fulton, followed by an enjoyable tenure with the Stanley Jones Corporation. In retirement, he lived in Poplar Bluff MO, White House TN and recently in
South Fulton TN.
He was predeceased by his wife Billie and recently , his son Scott Curtis.He is survived by his daughter Jan Johnson and husband Jay of Visalia,CA; sons Chuck Curtis and wife Kim of South Fulton TN and Drew Curtis and wife Becky of White House TN, daughter-in-law Tammy Curtis of Poplar Bluff MO,along with grandchildren Brad and Adam Johnson, Casey Curtis, Jessica and
Sam Curtis, Mollie and Corey Curtis along with two great-grandsons, Curtis James (CJ) and Evan Johnson. He left a legacy of strength and family and will be forever loved and missed by them.
Private Graveside Services will be held at 1PM Monday at the Greenvillle Cemetery in Greenville MO. Public visitation will be held from 2 to 5 Sunday in our funeral chapel.
