Cecil Choate

Mr. Cecil R. Choate, age 87, of Niceville, FL and formerly 
of South Fulton, TN passed away Friday, December 22, 2023
at the Superior Residences in Niceville, FL.

He was born on September 9, 1936 in Clinton, KY to the 
late Mary Frances Berry Blank and his step-father
George Blank.

Cecil was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church and 
was a United States Air Force veteran where he was a tail gunner
on the B-36J Peacemaker. He was a retired master electrician and
a project manager for the Newtron Group out of Louisiana. 

He is survived by a daughter Connie (Gina) Choate of Omaha,
NE, a son Colonel USAF (Ret) Chris (Tina) Choate of Niceville,
FL, three grandchildren: Brandon (Cori) Choate of Manchester,
NH, Jason Choate of Orlando, FL and Bret Selman of Omaha, NE
and a sister, Katie Dodson of Paducah, KY.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife,
Frances Payne Choate and a brother, Billy Vance

Funeral services will be held at 12Noon Friday, December 29,
2023 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion
County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral
home from 10AM Friday until the hour of service. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St Jude Childrens
Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
