Carl Franklin Douthitt

December 17, 1930 — December 19, 2019

Mr. Carl Franklin Douthitt, 89, of Wooster, OH passed away into the loving arms of
his heavenly father while surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 19, 2019.

Carl was born December 17, 1930 in Dukedom, TN. On January 27, 1952,
he married Patricia Hadden, who survives.

He was a retiree of Ford Motor Company, was a farmer and managed the Dairy
Operations at The University of Tennessee, before retiring in 1995. He served his
country in the U.S. Army during Korea. He was affiliated with the Church of Christ
and was a Mason and a member the Coventry Lodge No. 83, F. & A.M. in Akron,
Ohio. He could fix anything, tearing apart tractors and reassembling them. Carl had
a natural ability with animals, was always happy and smiling, and was there for his family.

Along with his wife, Carl is survived by his daughters Joyce (Donald) Bowman Jr.,
of West Salem and Elizabeth (John) Eisterhold of Houston, TX; grandchildren Melissa
Garver of Los Angeles, CA, Scott Garver of Lorain, Lauren Rogers and Victoria Rogers
both of Houston, TX and Emily Garver of Wooster; great-grandson Bryce Michael Castillo
of Houston, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father; Samuel Reed Douthitt; His Mother;
Tommie Holmes Haywood a son; Michael Reed Douthitt and a sister Sammie
Bennett.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M Friday, December 27,
2019 at Maplewood Cemetery 408 N. 6th Street ,Mayfield, KY 42066. There will be no visitation and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
