Brenda Joyce Jones

Mrs. Brenda Joyce Jones, age 73, of Sharpe, KY and formerly of South Fulton, TN died early Tuesday morning, March 3, 2015 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

Brenda Joyce Jones loved her family, her friends, and primitive-antique furniture. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton,KY and was formerly of South Fulton,TN.

She was one of five children born to Auval Lonzo and Willie Pauline
Gunter. Brenda has two children, Rick and Rhonda and one grandchild,
Charles. She is also survived by her former husband Mike Goodwin
and a brother Auval Lonzo Gunter, Jr. She was also proud to be an aunt to many nieces and nephews. Family was central to Brenda's life.

Brenda was gregarious, full of mischief, and loyal. She had a talent for making friends everywhere she went and many of her friends go back to her childhood years.

Brenda's Antiques was known far and wide and she was a local expert in
primitive furniture. Brenda loved the stories that accompanied each piece of furniture as much as the furniture itself.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Henry
Jones, three sisters Betty Jo Jones, Sarah Jones and Frances M.
Landuyt and a brother William "Bill" Gunter.

Brenda is loved and will be missed. Please join us in celebrating her life and her accomplishments.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Sunday, March 8 at the First Baptist Church in Fulton with interment in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 2 pm until the funeral hour.
