Bobby Joe Goodwin

Mr. Bobby Joe Goodwin, age 89, of Fulton, KY
passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 at the 
Weakley County Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on August 1, 1932 in Fulton County,
KY to the late Robert Campbell Goodwin and Madaline
Lunsford Goodwin.

Bobby Joe was a member of Rush Creek United Methodist Church
and was a retired General Foreman for Illinois Central Railroad. 
He was a member of Roberts Lodge #172, where he was a 
past Master, he was an avid hunter and was a family man. 
Bobby Joe also enjoyed to travel. 

He is survived by his wife, Joann Smith Goodwin, whom he 
married February 13, 2016, two daughters: Trudy Ann (Henry Lee)
Archey of Wingo, KY and Vonda Jane (Gary) Hopkins of South Fulton,
TN, a step-daughter Jennifer Roney of South Fulton, TN, a step-son
Bill Bard of Fulton, KY, seven grandchildren: Joe David (Paula) Elliott
of Lexington, KY, Jason Wesley (Amber) Elliott of Fulton, KY, Joshua
Morgan (Brittany) Elliott of Nesbitt, MS, Justin Campbell Elliott of South
Fulton, TN, Jennifer Madaline Elliott of Fulton, KY, Blake Goodwin Hopkins
of South Fulton, TN and Gatlin Allen Hopkins of South Fulton, TN, eight
great-grandchildren: Madeline Elliott, Sadie Grace Elliott, Lincoln Elliott,
Presley Ann Elliott, Ezekiel Elliott, Abraham Elliott, Bryson Byassee and 
Journey Elizabeth Stoops.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his second wife Norma
Beard Goodwin, a step-daughter Cheryl Ann Jobe, a step-granddaughter 
Camileta Lynn Jackson, a brother and a sister. 

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, February 23, 2022
in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Rush Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Tuesday with a Masonic
service to be conducted at 7PM.
