Bobbie Jean Burgess

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Burgess, age 76, of South Fulton, Tn. passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at her residence.

She was born December 27, 1944, in Gadsden, Alabama to the late Louie Whitworth and Vivian Cleo Tallant Whitworth.

Bobbie was a homemaker and volunteer minister for 20 years at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She held bible studies twice a week and was a member
of Christian Motorcycle Ministries. Bobbie was a member of The People Place Assembly of God of South Fulton and was a loving grandmother and great grandmother.

She was survived by her husband, Steve Burgess, one son, Jason Burgess of South Fulton, Tn. and one daughter, Jennifer Burgess of South Fulton, Tn., one grandchild, Christian Burgess of South Fulton, Tn., two great grandchildren, Steven Blake Jobe and Tobias Ethan Jobe of Union City, Tn. one brother, Lavard Whitworth of Idaho.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Monday, March 1 at The People Place Assembly of God of South Fulton, Tn. Visitation will be held at the church from 11 AM until the hour of service. Entombment will be at Obion County Memorial Gardens Masoleum.
