Billy Thomas Swift

September 28, 1925 — September 12, 2020

Mr. Billy Thomas Swift, age 94, of Fulton, KY and formerly of Prescott, AZ
passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the West Tennessee Healthcare
Volunteer Hospital in Martin, TN.

He was born on September 28, 1925 in Fulton, KY to the late Freeman
Horace and Annie Lorene Brown Swift.

He was a member of the Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints and was a United
States Navy World War II Veteran. After the Navy he went to college in the
Phillipeans and Chicago. He lived in Miami, FL, Holton, KS, Inden, MO,
Arizona and Fulton, KY. Mr. Swift spent years as an antique dealer and traveled the
world buying up antiques for his shop, The Red Lamp Antiques' in Prescott,
AZ. In all of his wordly travels he was baptized in the Jordan River and walked
on the Great Wall of China and went to Europe 23 times. He was a joy to be
around and a stern task master. Was loved by all. He loved his dogs, nieces
and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings;
Leon (Nadine) Swift, Martha (Darrell) Andersen, Betty (William)
Allen, Buddy (Mary Lee) Swift and Myra Pickle, a nephew Billy Swift and a long
time friend and business partner, Robert Dale Coffey

He is survived by four sisters; Bessie Mae Dublin of Tonasket, WA, Carolyn
Fisher of Green Bay, WI, Jo Menness of Fort Worth, TX and Mary Emma
Morgan of Hickman, KY, two brothers; Jerry Freeman Swift of Hickman
County, KY and Danny Keith Swift of Fulton County, KY, nieces and
nephews; Patty (Bob) Fussell, Peggy (Tom) Cochran, Michele Jetton,
Sue (Don) Alumbauch, Virgil (Linda) Allen, James Swift, Sharon Swift,
Linda Swift, Liddy (Allen) Dick, Betty Andersen, Gary (Lisa) Swift and
Elisa (Mack) Allen and David (Cindy) Swift and several great nieces
and nephews.


Funeral services will be held at 1PM Friday in our funeral chapel with burial
to follow in the Mt Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home
from 11AM Friday until the hour of service. We do ask that you wear a mask
for the visitation and funeral service for Mr. Swift.
