Mr. Billy Ray Ethridge, age 82, of South Fulton, TN died May 20, 2013 at his home.
He had attended the former Pentecostal Church in Hickman,KY and was a retired farmer who had worked for Rea Farms in Martin, TN. He had made his home in Hickman, KY before moving to Martin where he lived from 1969 - 1998, then moving to South Fulton,TN.
He is survived by two daughters Susie Chappell of Cookeville, TN,
Sherry Ethridge of South Fulton, TN and a son Billy Joe Ethridge
of South Fulton, TN; five step daughters Janice Connell of Fulton,KY,May King of Hickman, KY, Debbie Williamson of South Fulton,TN, Lula Bell Stroud of Gleason,TN, and Rosie Baker of Union City, TN and a step son Carl Rothman of Fulton,KY. Five grandchildren, eleven step
grandchildren, twenty four step great grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren, two sisters Martha Buck of Knox, IN, Betty Jean Hill of Hickman, KY and two step brothers Jimmy Bobbitt of Hickman,KY and Gary Dale Bobbitt of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Pearl (Goff) Ethridge in 1998, his parents Gladys (Mosley) and John Henry Ethridge, a step son Donald Rothman, a step grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am Wednesday, May 22 at the Hickman City Cemetery in Hickman,KY. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
