Betty Pruitt Mikel

Ms. Betty Carol Pruitt Mikel, age 66, of South Fulton died
Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at her home.

She was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church and had been
a registered nurse where she had worked for the Baptist Memorial
Hospital. She was a graduate of South Fulton High School
and the University of Tennessee at Martin, was a member of the
Tennessee Nurses Association where she was past president, a
member of the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses, Charter
member of Obion County United Way and had served as past
president.

She is survived by her mother Wyonna Pounds Pruitt Brown of
Martin, TN and a cousin Linda Hall of Louisville,KY.

She was preceded in death by her father William Franklin Pruitt.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Thursday in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
