Mrs. Betty Dawes Harrison, age 87, of Fulton, KY died Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Collierville, TN.
She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in South Fulton, TN and of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 4862, Fulton County Homemakers, Senior Circle and Eastern Star. She was a dental assistant and bookkeeper for Dr. Robert Rudolph DDS from 1956-1975 and had lived in this area all of her life.
She is survived by two daughters, Carreen H. Rowland (Tom) of Bartlett, TN and Shelia H. Willard (Leon) of Collierville, TN, three grandchildren; Michelle Willard of Germantown, MD, Betty Jean Wolfenberger of Memphis, TN and John Roland Landry of Denham Springs, LA, four great grandchildren, one brother, John Claude McGregor of Olive Branch, MS, two sisters, Pat Adlich of Benton, KY and Jane D. Eads of Fulton, KY.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. "Carl Billy" Harrison and parents Jim and Leola Dawes.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Friday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 noon Friday until the service hour.
