Betty Lou Cartwright, 73, of South Fulton,TN died Friday, March 22 at Jackson-Madison
County General Hospital.
She was a member of South Fulton Baptist Church, Barnes Sunday School Class, was an employee of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 31 years where she retired in 2002, and had lived in this area all of her life.
She is survived by four daughters, Joyce S.(Scott) Lawrence of South Fulton,TN,
Cynthia M. (Rick) McWhorter of Rives, TN, Diana L. (Marty) Finch of Foley,MO, Deborah Jane (Bob) Canaday of Wentzville, MO, fourteen grandchildren, Derrick Elliott of Lake Saint Louis, MO, Chase Elliott of Martin, TN, Kady (Daniel) Glover of South Fulton,TN, Dusty Hickerson of Huntingdon,TN, Danielle McWhorter of Union City, TN,Callie (Ryan) Smith of Cornersville, TN, Cory (Angela) Finch of Lake Saint Louis, MO, Trista Finch of Troy,MO, Eric Busby of Wentzville, MO, Chris (Angie) Enloe, Daniel (Tara) Canaday, Micah (Chelcy)Canaday, all of Wentzville,MO, Ryan(Tami)Canaday of Denver, CO, Brandi (Graham) Rockley of Long Mount, CO; fifteen great grandchildren and long time companion, Ray Lynn Dodson of Troy, Tn.
She is preceded in death by her father, Sterling Price Morris, her mother, Mary Lee Beard Morris Simmons, a sister, Martha Sue Wiseman, three brothers,
Paul Duncan, James Morris, Charles Morris and one grandchild, Brandon Canaday.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with entombment to
follow at Obion County Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Friends may call Monday from 5-8 p.m. or anytime Tuesday until the funeral hour.
