Betty Cagle

Mrs. Betty Louise Cagle, 85 of Union City, TN, formerly of Hickman, KY passed away at The Waters of Union City on December 2, 2018.

Betty was born in Fulton County, KY on June 16, 1933 to the late O.D. Cole and late Hattie (Jiles) Cole.  She married J C Cagle May 20, 1950.  He preceded her in death in July, 2005.  They had one son, Larry Wayne Cagle who died in July of 2016. She was also preceded in death by several half brothers and half sisters.

Betty had worked for the former Hickman Garment Factory and the former Reelfoot Packing Company. 

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Chonnette Goodman Cagle of the Cayce Community, her grandson Adam Cagle and his wife, Julie of Clinton, KY, granddaughter, Shonda (Cagle)Ervin and her husband, Allan of Columbia, TN and great grandchildren, Courtney Cagle, Ryker Cagle, Shooter Ervin and Levi Ervin.

Graveside services will be held at the Hickman City Cemetery on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Charles Southerland and Rev. Mark Lambert officiating.  Family and friends are asked to gather at the Hickman Cemetery prior to service.  There will be no visitation.
