Betty J. Bowers

Mrs. Betty Bowers, age 87, of Fulton, KY passed away
Friday, May 13, 2022 at the Fulton Nursing and Rehab.

She was born October 28, 1934 in Fulton County, KY 
to the late Martin Evans "Peck" Ellegood and Addie
Whitehead Perry.

Betty was a member of Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian
Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She had worked for the
former Henry I. Siegel in South Fulton, TN and the former
Ferry-Morse Seed Company in Fulton, KY. Betty lived most 
of her life in this area.

She is survived by a daughter, Debbie Jane Rushing of Fulton, KY,
a son Anthony W. Brown of Fulton, KY, three grandchildren: Brett Brown of
Nashville, TN, Chad Rushing of South Fulton, TN, Nicky Rushing of
Fulton, KY and five great-grandchildren: Payton Rushing of Murray, KY,
Noah Rushing of Martin, TN, Brandon Rushing of Fulton, KY, Lexus
Rushing of Fulton, KY and Adon Rushing of South Fulton, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband,
Johnny Bowers and a granddaughter, Rachel Brown.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Saturday, May 14, 2022
in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation held at
the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour 
of service.
