Bessie Mai Sanders

Mrs. Bessie Mai Sanders, age 86, of Fulton, KY, formerly of Hickman died on Monday, April 1, 2019.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Hickman. 

Mrs. Sanders was born on July 19, 1932 in Phillippy, TN to the late Cleve Buckelew and Bessie (Walter) Buckelew.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Sanders, five brothers and three sisters. 

She is survived by her brother, Franklin (Sara) Buckelew of Harrisburg, AR, sister-in-law, Katie Buckelew of Fulton, KY and several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Mills officiating.

Visitation will be at Strong Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until funeral time at 2:30 P.M.

Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers.
