Barney Russell

Mr. Barney Russell, age 79, of La Vergne, TN and formerly of this area
passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro,
TN.

He was born on November 3, 1942 in Graves County, KY to the late
Barney Cole and Onie Mavis Coursey Russell.

Barney was a member of the Assembly of God in Clinton
and worked at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company
in Union City, TN. He lived most of his life in this area.

He is survived by a sister Bonnie Davidson Miller of
Bellville, MI.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter,
Dana Russell and two brothers; Billy Houston Moreland and
James Moreland.

Graveside services will be held at 11AM Friday, July 23, 2021 at the
Obion County Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation
held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the
cemetery at the hour of service.
