Barbara Lawson

Mrs. Barbara Lawson, age 84, of South Fulton, TN,
passed away September 21, 2023 at her residence 
in South Fulton, TN.

She was born in Fulton County, KY, on 
April 10, 1939 to the late C.A. Turner
and Mae Yates Turner.

She was a member of the Union Church and was
a former Welcome Wagon Hostess. She was also
a homemaker and lived all her life in this area.

Barbara is survived by her husband Tommy
Lawson, to whom she marred in 1957, a
daughter Kym Coley of Martin, TN, a son
Tommy Lawson, Jr. of Fulton, KY, four
grandchildren: Ethan (Mary) Lawson
of Union City, TN, Dakota (Danielle) Coley
of Springville, TN, Landon (Carmen) Coley,
and Sierra Coley both of Martin, TN, seven
great grandchildren: Ayden Bevis, Noah Bevis, 
Stevie Grace Lawson, Avery Lawson and John
Tyler Richards all of Union City, TN, Emma
Gumm of Springville, TN and Andi Grace Coley
of Martin, TN, a brother James (Kathy) Turner
of Fulton, KY and a sister, Scarlet Bennett of 
Fulton, KY.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in 
death by her brother-in-law Tommy Bennett
a granddaughter Alexandera Bevis and a
son-in-law Craig Coley.

Funeral services will be held at 3PM Sunday, 
September 24, 2023 in our funeral chapel with 
burial to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial
Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral 
home from 1PM until the hour of service.
