Mr. Asher Burnette Jones, age 79, of South Fulton, TN died Sunday,
August 20, 2017 at his residence.
He was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church, he had worked for the former Lear-Seigler in Union City, TN and Henry I. Siegel in South Fulton, TN.
Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Hilda Garland Jones whom me married November 23, 1962, a daughter Lisa (Kelly) Newton of Martin, TN, two grandchildren; Ashley (Terry) Harris of Martin, TN and Jeremy (Courtney) Newton of Martin, TN, three sisters; Trevada Colson of Murray, KY, Ella (Charles) Boren of Elmo, KY and Sharon (Dan) Jones of Murray, KY.
He is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. Jones and Stella Gray Ernstberger Jones, two brothers and a sister Norma Garland.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday at the South Fulton Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the South Fulton Baptist Church from 5-8PM Monday.
