Bondurant and Doris Bell Bondurant of Hickman, KY. She is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Whipple Jr., also of Hickman.

She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Melanie Foley Smith and son-in-law, Dr. Scott Smith; granddaughters Avery and Ainsley Smith; sister Amb. Amy Bondurant Dunn (David); and sister Lucy Bondurant Wilson (Max).

Ann was a 1966 graduate of Fulton County High School. She attended UT Martin, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Social Sorority, as was her mother. She then attended Southern Illinois University, and later graduated from Utah State University.

Over the years, Ann worked in teaching, nursing, and real estate, as she achieved her BS in Nursing from UT Martin, and subsequently earned her real estate license.

Ann enjoyed watching old movies, reading the Bible and Christian literature, working puzzles, and spending time with her family. She was inspired by the teachings of Charles Stanley with In Touch Ministries. Avery and Ainsley were her pride and joy, and she loved to hear Melanie sing.

Ann was a strong Christian and believed firmly in the power of prayer. Her family knows that she is rejoicing with her Lord and Savior.
