Mr. Allen Stephens, age 82, of Clinton, KY died Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
He attended the Crutchfield Baptist Church and had worked for the former Garrien Finishing in Union City, TN. He lived all of his life in this area.
He is survived by a daughter, Julie (Adam) Cagle of Clinton, KY,
a step-son James Ray Byrd of Crutchfield, KY, two grandchildren;
Courtney Cagle and Ryker Cagle both of Clinton, KY, two step-
grandchildren; Amy Sowell of Indenpendence, MO, Ashley Byrd of
South Fulton, TN, one step-great grandchild Aria Grace Sowell of
Independence, MO, three sisters; Mary Frances Ramsey of Wingo, KY,
Martha Williams of Martin, TN, Liz Sadler of Martin, TN.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Faye Byrd Stephens, a brother
John Thomas Stephens, Jr, a sister Kay Brown, his parents John T.
and Mary Dean Richmond Stephens.
Graveside services will be held at 2PM Wednesday in the Ray's Cemetery in Hickman County. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
