Wilma Lee Griggs

Mrs. Wilma Lee (Gaylord) Griggs, 77 of Hickman went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She died at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God in Hickman for over sixty years. Mrs. Griggs was also a member of the WCG at the First Church of God and a huge supporter of the church youth. Mrs. Griggs is survived by her loving son, Robert Griggs of Hickman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Griggs, Jr., parents, William and Ruby Gaylord, brother, George Henry Gaylord and half-sister, Loretta Allen. Funeral services will be held at Strong Funeral Home on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Joel Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
