Gerald Hollis Dickson

Mr. Gerald Hollis Dickson, 71, of South Fulton, TN died at his residence on Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber plant in Union City, TN. Mr. Dickson was of Baptist faith and a Veteran of the U. S. Army where he served in the Vietnam War. Born May 29, 1946 in Marked Tree, AR, he was the son of the late John Frank Dickson and the late Mary (Bell) Dickson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann (Bennett) Dickson, his son, Gerald Hollis Dickson, Jr., and 4 brothers. Mr. Dickson is survived by his son, Leslie Dickson of South Fulton, TN, grandchildren, Alexis and Laiken Dickson, both of South Fulton, TN, Maggie Dickson, Mary Allison Dickson and Hollie Dickson, all of Troy, TN , 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother and 6 sisters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Strong Funeral Home. There will be no service.
