Carolyn Sue Kilpatrick

Mrs. Sue Kilpatrick, 78, died on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. Born in Fulton County, KY, on October 10, 1937, Sue was the daughter of the late Charlie and Grace (Brown) Childers. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Mrs. Kilpatrick was a member of the Midway Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Ecford Kilpatrick of Hickman, son, Jeff Kilpatrick of Hickman, grandchildren, Louie Kilpatrick of Hickman, Juanita Downs of Cadiz, KY, McKenna, Noah and Emma Kilpatrick , all of Hickman, brother, Johnny Childers, sisters, Shirley Long of Jacksonville, FL , Betty Jo Gray of Union City, TN and Mary Griggs of Florida. Funeral services will be held at Strong Funeral Home on Friday, October 1st at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tom Fortner officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 30th after 5:00 PM at the funeral home and again on Friday from 9:00 AM until service time.
