Ray E. Drewry

Mr. Ray E. Drewry, 96, of Hickman, KY died on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Drewry was a member of the East Hickman Baptist Church. He was a devout Christian and had attended Sunday school and church for 63 years without missing a Sunday service. Mr. Drewry was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He also was an avid collector of golf balls. His collection included golf ball from all over the United States. A memorial service will be held at the East Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 11th at 2:30 P.M. to honor his life. Revs. Ben Stratton and Mark Lambert will officiate. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Gerty Drewry, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include his wife, Helen Drewry of Hickman; son, Ron Drewry of Hickman; step-sons, David Curlin of Nashville, TN and Jackie Curlin of Hickman; step-daughters, Pat Potts of Texas, Elizabeth Nixon of Maryville, TN, Jeanette Collier and Sandra Carrington, both of Martin, TN.;brother, Richard Drewry of ElDorado, MO and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
