Henry Edward Cooley

Mr. Henry E. Cooley, 95, of South Fulton, TN, formerly of Hickman died at the St. Francis Medical Center on February 10, 2016 in Cape Girardeau, MO. Mr. Cooley was born in Fulton, KY on December 29, 1920 to the late Clemson S.and Manie Pearl Cooley. His brother, James Cooley also preceded him in death. He was a U. S .Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Cooley retired from the Hickman-Fulton Counties RECC where he was a lineman for many years before becoming a foreman for the company. He was of Christian faith. Mr. Cooley is survived by his wife, Dorothy (Turner) Cooley of South Fulton, TN, formerly of Hickman; son, Thomas (Sharon) Cooley of Hickman; grandchildren, Tammy Pleimann of Oak Ridge, MO, Terri Fitch of Plant City, FL and Samuel Cooley of Tampa, FL; great grandchildren, Brandon Pleimann, Adam Pleimann, Cameron Fitch, Cortney Fitch and Thomas Connell. Memorial services for Mr. Cooley will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Hickman with Rev. Henry Callison officiating. A Private burial with immediate family only, will follow at the Hickman City Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted. The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 19th at Strong Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM
