John Benjamin Lattus

Mr. John Benjamin Lattus, 87, of Hickman, KY died November 7, 2015 at his home. Mr. Lattus was born in Hickman, KY on the Seamore Farm on October 10, 1928 to the late Joseph Benjamin Lattus and the late Louise Norine (Hunziker) Lattus. At the age of six months, his parents and the family moved to the Lattus farm. Having lived there for 86 and ½ years he farmed the land along with others until his death. Mr. Lattus is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Jo (Werner) Lattus of Hickman; sons, Andy Lattus and Tony (Kathi) Lattus, both of Hickman and a daughter, Christy Lattus of Hickman, grandchildren, Benjamin Lattus, Kaleigh (Rick) Larson, John A. Harris and Marianna Harris and 2 great grandsons, John Damian Larson and Noah Benjamin Larson and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him is death in addition to his parents were his sons, Mark Lattus and Patrick Lattus, 2 brothers, Frank and Daniel Lattus and sister, Lena Margaret Keith. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 10th at the Sacred Heart Catholic church with Father Robert Drury officiating. Burial will follow at the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 9th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic church.
