Hollica Ann Prather

Mrs. Hollica Ann Prather, 70 of Hickman died at her home on October 18, 2015. She and her husband Joe Prather owned and operated the Mengel Mart in Hickman for seventeen years before retiring. Mrs. Prather was a member of the West Baptist Church in Hickman. Mrs. Prather was born in Hickman on October 11, 1945 to the Charles Edward and Neva (Harrison) Williams. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Williams, brother, Charles (Chuck) Williams and sister, Teresa Dodd. Survivors include her mother, Neva Mae Williams of Hickman, husband of 51 years, Joe Prather of Hickman; son, Shane Prather of Wapa Keneta, OH; daughter, Jessica Jo Prather of Troy, TN; grandchildren, Nancy Prather, Preston Eakes, Nick Prather, Ashlee Eakes, Brad Weatherbee and Cory Weatherbee and six great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 with Rev. Henry Callison officiating at Strong Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Obion County, TN. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, October 19th and again on Tuesday from 12 Noon until service time.
