Larry W. Bowlin

Mr. Larry W. Bowlin, 66 of Hickman passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin, TN. He had been a truck driver for Bill Baxter logging operation. Mr. Bowlin was of Baptist faith but attended the First United Pentecostal church in Union City, TN He was a U.S. Army veteran and had served 20 years with the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel T. and Vernice (Davis) Bowlin, son, Daniel Bowlin, one brother and one sister. Mr. Bowlin is survived by his wife, Junie Bowlin of Hickman; sons, Rev. Johnny Bowlin and Aaron Bowlin, both of Hickman and Matthew Bowlin of Memphis, TN; brothers, Rev. Ray Bowlin of St. Charles, VA, Rev. Don Bowlin of Sharon, TN, Gary Bowlin of Lafayette, TN and James Bowlin of Hickman, KY and sister, Wanda Sue Bowlin of Hickman, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 30, 1024 at the First Pentecostal church in Union City with Revs. Billy Uzzle and Don Bowlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery, The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. until service time on Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Larry W.
