James Delane Davis

Mr. James Delane Davis, 79, of Hickman, KY died December 10, 2014 at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton. Mr. Davis was a retired police officer of thirty five years with the city of Baltimore, MD. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and attended Lake Road Baptist Church near Union City, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel David Davis and Mary Opal (Counts) Davis; sisters, Mary Ruth O’Rear, Betty Joyce Felts and Almarene Dial. Mr. Davis is survived by his son, Leslie Davis of Baltimore, MD , brother, Johnny Davis of Hickman, KY and sister, Catherine Garrigus of Fort Oglethorpe, GA Funeral services are set for 2:00 PM on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, December 13th at Strong Funeral Home.
