Richard D. Williams

Richard D. Williams, age 72, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at University of Wisconsin Hospital. Mr. Williams was born in Hickman, Kentucky on October 19, 1942. He served 20 years in the U.S. Army, retiring with rank of Major in 1980. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Clinton, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Williams and Mary Edna Williams, and his brothers Michael and Donald Williams. He is survived in death by his wife, Alice Williams of Clinton, Kentucky; sons, Richard (Corinne) Williams of Madison, Wisconsin, Chris (Katie) Williams of Murray, Kentucky, Steven (Tara) Williams of Fulton, Kentucky; brother, Brent (Teresa) Williams of Union City, Tennessee; sister Frieda (Robert) Templeton of Clinton, Kentucky; 6 Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Strong Funeral Home with Revs. Henry Callison and Kevin Clark officiating. Burial will be in the Hickman City Cemetery with military rites. Visitation is set for Monday, December 1, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home.
