Johnny Shields

Johnny Shields, 60, of Hickman, KY died on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton. He was a member of David’s Chapel church near Hickman. Johnny was born March 22, 1954 in Hickman, KY. Shields was preceded in death by his parents, John Frank Shields and Helen (Harrison) Shields and one brother, Bobby Mayo. He is survived by his daughter, Denise Shields of Troy, TN, brothers, Eddie Mayo of Hickman, KY, Thomas Shields of Pt. Comfort, TX, Jackie Shields of Clinton, KY and Donnie Sutton of Hickman; sisters, Glenda Edgin of Hickman, KY and Patrica Lowery of Jackson, MI Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Strong Funeral Home with Revs. Henry Callison and Billy Uzzle officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM until 8:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17th and again at the funeral home on Thursday after 9:00 AM. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
