Loyd Edward Wiley

Mr. Loyd Edward Wiley, 83, of Westland, MI formerly of Hickman, KY died on August 20, 2014 at Angela Hospice in Livonia, MI. He was born in Hickman on May 23, 1931 to the late Charlie and Mable (Blanton) Wiley. Loyd was retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a member of the Wallace St. Full Gospel Temple in Westland, MI and a veteran of the Air Force In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (Morrow) Wiley and granddaughter, Crystal Wiley. Mr. Wiley is survived by his sons, Mike (Lisa) Wiley of Westland, MI, David (Colleen) Wiley of Garden City, MI and Greg (Teresa) Wiley of Cypress, TX, daughter, Theresa (Michael) Van Houcke of Canton, MI, brother, Charles Wiley of Hickman, sister, Peggy Sue Thomas of Union City, TN, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Strong Funeral Home with Revs. Jason Sipes and Nancy Varden officiating. Burial will be the Hickman City Cemetery with Military rites conducted. Friends may call at Strong Funeral Home on Tuesday August 26 the from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday after 9:00 A.M. until service time.
