Kaye Shaw

Mrs. Kaye Shaw, 77, of Hickman died on Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Baptist Health Paducah. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Union City, TN Kaye was born in Memphis, TN on March 4, 1937 to the late Lester and Nell Eason. Kaye’s service as a registered nurse included Methodist Hospital in Memphis, TN, Baptist Memorial in Union City, TN, Fulton County Home Health, Parkway Regional Home Health and the Hickman Clinic.  She retired as Administer of the Fulton County Health Department in 1999. She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Shaw, Jr. of Hickman; son and daughter in law, Mark and Stephanie Rumfelt of Benton, KY; daughters and son in laws,  Michelle (Rumfelt) and Jacky O’Neal of Mayfield, KY and Connie (Rumfelt) and Ed  Simmons of Atwater, OH; step daughters and their husbands, Mary Ann and Chris Darnell of Benton, KY and Melissa and Paul Ballew of Paducah, KY, brother, David Eason of Nashville, TN, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Strong Funeral Home with Revs. Henry Callison and Phillip McClure officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors after 6:00 PM at Strong Funeral Home on Sunday, April 6th and again on Monday from 11:00 AM until service time.
