Clarence Edgar Anderson

Clarence E. Anderson, 87, of Hickman, KY died at his residence on February 14, 2014.   He was born in Hickman, KY on November 16, 1926 to the late Lewis and Ruth (Burton) Anderson.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Edwards) Anderson, brothers, J. E. Anderson, James Anderson, Prather Anderson, Gather Anderson and Burton Anderson, and sisters, Virgie Crocker and Allie Stanfield.   Mr. Anderson was retired mail carrier from the Hickman Post Office and of Baptist faith.  He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.     Mr. Anderson is survived by his sister, Imogene Dunnagan of Carrsville, VA, several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and his caregiver, his great nephew, Bob Anderson of Hickman.   Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Callison officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.    The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, February 16th until service time at 2:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home.
