Robert Edwin Pair

Robert E. Pair, 86, of Maryville, TN, formerly of Hickman, died January 7, 2014 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Born May 16, 1927 in Bondurant, KY, he was the son of the late Arval and Idyle (McMannus) Pair. He was retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Plant in Union City, TN. Mr. Pair was a member of the River Oaks Community Church in Maryville and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Pair, brother, Richard Pair and sisters, Floella Pair and Sang Baker. Survivors include his son, Bob Pair of Maryville, TN, daughter, Sherry Wilson of Springfield, MO, sister, Gloria Jean Choate of Bardwell, KY, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Hickman with Rev. Henry Callison officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the church until service time.
