Douglas Shawn McClure

Douglas “Doug” Shawn McClure, 52, of the Cayce community died December 30, 2012, at his residence. He was of the Assembly of God faith and had worked as a press operator at the former Sigri plant in Hickman. Doug is survived by his father and step-mother, Wayne and Diane McClure of the Cayce community, daughters, Summer Wood of Kodiak, Alaska and Kylee Renea McClure of Hickman; brothers, Gary McClure of Hickman and Mike McClure of Union City, TN, sister, Kecia Turner of Troy, TN and 2 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Taylor McClure and sister, Sherry Wheelis. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 3rd at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Hall officiating. Burial will be in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd at Strong Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and again on Friday from 12 noon to service time.
