Teresa Fay Phelps

Mrs. Teresa Fay Phelps , 56, of Union City, TN died on August 10, 2013 at Jackson Madison County Hospital in Jackson, TN. She was a clerk at Big Lots in Union City, TN and a member of New Hope Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Phelps was preceded in death by her father, Demus Winters, Sr., brother, Ricky Winters and sister, Vanessa Winters. Survivors include her husband, Terry Phelps of Union City, TN; mother, Ann Winters of St. Louis, MO; son, Terae Phelps of Union City; daughters, Yolonda Dyson of Union City, TN and Lageha Baldwin of Smyrna, TN ; 2 step-sons, Untwon Bishop of South Fulton, TN and Byron Phelps of Martin, TN; brothers, Demus Winters of Mayfield, KY and Freddie Winters of Augusta, GA; sisters, Rhonda Edminston of St. Louis, MO and Helen Clark of Paducah, KY and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Union City, TN with Rev. A.E. McCadney. Burial will follow in the East View Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 16th at Strong Funeral Home in Hickman from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. and again at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Union City from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
