Maudie Gouger

Mrs . Maudie Gouger , 93, of Hickman died on July 14,2013 at Haws Memorial Nursing Home in Fulton, KY. Mrs. Gouger was born in Hickman on December 28, 1919. She was the oldest member of the West Hickman Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Rebecca( Hamill) Graves; husband, Chester Gouger and son, George Gouger. Her survivors include her son, Richard Gouger of Hickman, daughters, Doris Webb of Covington,TN and Martha Sue Brimm of South Fulton, TN, 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 17th at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial will be in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 P.M. til 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 16th at Strong Funeral Home and again on Wednesday at the funeral home after 11:00 A.M. Pallbearers are : Chris Gouger, Jamie Cochran,Jason Page, Stephen Brimm and Tim Smelpser.
