Mack Jones

Mack Jones, 81, of Hickman died May 7, 2013, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. Mr. Jones was born in Hickman on May 30, 1931 to the late Raymond and Marie (King) Jones. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he served as an assistant Postmaster in Hickman. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the U.S. Army and of Baptist faith. He is survived by his son, Tony Jones of Beebe, AR; daughters, Melissa White and Pamela Dial, both of Hickman and Kathleen Hellweg of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Charlotte Jones and Trulah Grissom, both of Hickman; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Jones and sisters, Alice Richardson, Erma Rowland, Gertrude Walker and Mildred Hindman. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Henry Callison officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Strong Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be: Glen Jones, Tony Jones, Richard Jones, Frank Jones, Tony L. Jones and Alex Mudd.
