Jimmie Doughty

Mr. Jimmie Doughty, 67, of Hickman, KY died on Monday, April 29, 2013 at his residence. He was a retired maintenance mechanic for the former Goodyear Tire Company in Union City, TN and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Doughty was born on July 20, 1945 to the late James Doughty, Jr. and Mary Sue (Jones) Doughty, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Doughty of Hickman; son, Jonathan Doughty of Bowling Green, KY; daughter, Kerry Doughty of Hickman, half-brothers, William Damaron of Tennessee, Petey Hamil , Donnie Hamil and Warren Hamil, all of Hickman, Phillip Hamil of Union City and Guy Hamil of Tiptonville, TN and sister, Nadine Poole of Youngsville, NC. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the American Legion Memorial Chapel in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors after 6:00 P.M. on Friday, May 3rd at Strong Funeral Home.
