Dorothy McKinnis

Mrs. Dorothy (Dot) McKinnis, 85, of Hickman, KY, died January 4, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tn. She was a lifelong member of the West Baptist Church in Hickman. Mrs. McKinnis is survived by two sons, D. R. (Peggy) McKinnis of Union City, TN and Tony (Jane) McKinnis of Leawood, KS; six grandchildren, Jon (Tabitha) McKinnis , Joel McKinnis and Jacob McKinnis, all of Union City, Tristan McKinnis of Chicago, IL, Rachel McKinnis and Daniel McKinnis, both of Leawood, KS and one great grandchild, Blair McKinnis of Union City, TN; brothers, Gary Joe (Dolly) Wilkerson of Fulton, KY, Bill (Jettie) Wilkerson of Hickman, KY and sister, Peggy (Lawrence) Haney of South Fulton, TN She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Vassie Wilkerson, husband, Hugh E. McKinnis, three brothers, Howard, James B. and Richard Wilkerson and four sisters, Juanita Whitten, Lavern Grissom, Ruth King and Donna Lattus. Funeral services will be held at the West Baptist Church in Hickman on Sunday, January 6th at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Friends may call at West Baptist Church on Saturday, January 5th from 6 PM until 8 PM and again at the church from 12 noon until service hour on Sunday. Pallbearers will be: Jon McKinnis, Joel McKinnis, Jacob McKinnis, Daniel McKinnis, Garrett Wilkerson, Tim Wilkerson and Mike Wilkerson. Honorary Pallbearer: James Gray.
