Beatrice Turner

Mrs. Beatrice Turner, 91, of Kokomo, IN, formerly of Hickman, died on November 20, 2012 at the Northwood Village Nursing Home in Kokomo, IN. Mrs. Turner was born in Tigrett, TN on November 26, 1926. She was retired from the Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Kokomo and a member of the Wayman Chapel AME Church. Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, Al Turner of Kokomo, son, James Turner of Kokomo, 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Willie (Nash) Atkins, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Funeral services were held on December 1, 2012 at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Benford officiating. Burial was in the Hickman City Cemetery.
