James Franklin Thomas

Mr. James Franklin Thomas, 64, of Hickman died at his home on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. He was a crane operator for the former Sigri Carbon plant in Hickman and a member of the East Baptist Church. Mr. Thomas was a Vietnam Marine veteran. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lenora Thomas and six brothers. He is survived by his son, James Thomas, Jr. of Hickman , brothers, Kenneth Thomas of Marmaduke, AR and Richard Thomas of Ohio, sisters, Shelia Thomas of Savannah, TN, Janie Wheeler of Alton, IL and Linda Adrian of OK., and two grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Poe officiating. Military burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Strong Funeral Home
