Elmer Williams

Mr. Elmer Williams, 83, of Hickman, KY died on August 1, 2012 at 5:15 AM at Union City Manor Nursing Home in Union City, TN He was a retired self-employed carpenter and a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church, and had served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Essie Williams and three brothers. Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Martha Williams of Hickman, son, Stephen Williams of Hickman and daughter, Gail Williams of Hickman, five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Strong Funeral Home with Revs. Charles Blair and Ricky Burton . Burial will follow in the Brownsville Cemetery near Hickman, KY. Friends may call at Strong Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
