Margaret Cheirs

Margaret Cheirs, 65, of Hickman, KY died June 5, 2012 at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, KY. She was a retired cook for the former Claude’s Restaurant in Hickman and a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Odis Hicks, brothers, Robert Cheirs and Johnnie Walsh and grandson, Roderick Cheirs. Ms. Cheirs is survived by her mother, Mattie Cheirs of Hickman; daughter, Anita Cheirs of Hickman; brothers, Joe Cheirs, Ricky Cheirs and Lawrence Cheirs, all of Hickman, Charles Cheirs of Fulton and William Cheirs of Kansas City, Mo; sisters, Lillie Cheirs, Christine Whitlow and Brenda Cheirs of Hickman and Fran McNeil of Little Rock, AR; 1 grandchild and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. , Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Roberson officiating. Burial will be in the Hickman City Cemetery. Friends may call at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time. Strong Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
