Glenda Johnson

Glenda Johnson, 66, of Hickman, KY died March 27, 2012 at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton, KY. She was employed at the Fulton County Detention Center in Hickman as a Lt. Deputy Jailer and was a member of the Walnut Log Baptist Church. She was born on October 6, 1945 in Dogwood, MO. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, R. B. and Annie Rice, brothers, R. B. Rice, Jr. and Jackie Rice, sister, Elizabeth Brock and great grandson, Bradley Aiden Prince Ruiz She is survived by her husband, Bobby Johnson of Hickman, son, Jeff Johnson of Hickman, daughter, Melissa Prince of South Fulton, TN, sister, Patricia Walters of Niceville, FL, grandchildren, Amanda Kendall, Corey Johnson, Kristen Prince, Ryan Prince and Anna Grace Johnson and great grandchildren, Averi Lynn Johnson, Bryce Johnson and Mylei Sims. Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM , Sunday, at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P. M. on Saturday at Strong Funeral Home and again on Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Pallbearers are: Steve Hendley, Robby Woods, John Amberg, J. L. Atwill, Melvin Pierce and David Thomas. Honorary pallbearers are: Bobby Hopper, Ricky Parnell, Jim Williams, Danny Zickefoose, Marty Higgs and Daniel Thomas.
